š¢ About Making Of An Incredible MD Podcast:
Looking to become an incredible doctor or health professional? Listen to our weekly conversations with current MD students and practising physicians to broaden your perspective on the systemic health issues which we face today. From the meaning of life/death across the world to the revealing the hierarchical biases within the medical profession are changing...nothing is off the table in these tell-all episodes! Each week's discussion is capped with a topical ethical dilemma so you can hear how these MDs and physicians think through the real problems they face every single day.
š About Vikram Sreenivasan:
Am so grateful that todayās guest, Vikram, was able to take a minute out of his insane ānew normalā schedule as a doctor serving on the frontlines, or shall we say, last-lines right now. Having trained originally in The States and India, Vikram is now practicing as a Junior Doctor at Monash Health, here in Melbourne, where heās been placed into the Emergency Department due to our very real COVID crisis.
**We planned this episode about breaking bad news well before Melbourne went into lock down number 2 and a second wave of infections ravaged our hospitals, so this episode hopefully can give everyone a bit of context of how doctors are breaking bad news to families on the daily now during this pandemic.
š About Halad to Health:
This Podcast is hosted by Halad to Health, a NFP that runs Australia's most affordable GAMSAT & Med Interview tuition services, where all proceeds go towards providing free health education in rural Philippines.
