Sean Kelly and Kayla O’Connor lead you through two hours of football this Saturday April 11, 2026.
The team kick off the programme with news of the week.
Football waved goodbye to a women’s soccer pioneer in Barbara Gibson; round 4 of the Australia Cup kicks off Friday night; Football West’s Club Convention at the State FC sells out; our Emerging Matildas and Socceroos squads are preparing for their respective tournaments over the next two weeks, and the Socceroos are readying for the nearing World Cup.
Our guest lineup is-
Ben Kelly, President Swan United FC. Following relegation from the State League, Swan United started their re-build with a set back. We talk with the new President about the pathway back to State League football.
Donna Guiffre, DT38 Head of Media and Operations. We catch up with Donna to find out what is happening with DT38 and how you can get involved.
Katelyn Smith, ParaMatildas goalkeeper, Inclusive Solutions Development Officer and Mentor/Coach. What’s happening in the world of inclusive football? Katelyn is a new Mum and recovering from ACL surgery, hoping to be back to full capacity for the next World Cup. Goal keepers are a rare breed in Perth, a quick scan across socials and clubs will see more vacancies appearing in this space. Why is that?
Richard Paveley, Association of Walking Football Australia and Wanneroo City SC. As the walking game grows, the need for state bodies and unified national rules increases. Richard is involved in state and national developments with the World Cup in Brisbane this year and the first State vs state national championships in Sydney this October.
