The target audience for this episode is EVERYONE.

Our guest for today is my very own older brother, Akbar Khwaja. I am so happy that he finally agreed to be a guest on the show and I am proud that his first book called 'Rumi and Kabir Consulting' was released last month. As soon as it was released, it hit the charts as #2 on the hot release list in India.  You can buy the book on amazon.com or amazon.in

Name of the book: Rumi and Kabir Consulting by Akbar Khwaja and Nikhil Sharma

My Key Takeaways from this fun sibling  banter is as follows:

There are 3 things that can get you started on the path of happiness:

1. The ability to be silent in words, in mind, and in emotions this you can do by controlling your TPM that is your thoughts per minute

2. From the silence that is created in the heart and mind, emerges the ability to listen to your intuition

3. Through intuition, you can get in touch with the inner most part of yourself which will give you the deepest kind of happiness

4. There are hacks to happiness which allow you to take shortcuts towards happiness. These hacks are disclosed in the book.

I will leave you with my favorite verse from the book written by Kabir:

Karta tha so kyun kiya

Ab kari kyun pachtai

Boya ped babul ka

Tu aam kahan se paye

Which means:

Without thought did you act,

Now done, why repent after the fact

If seeds of a bitter fruit you sow

How then would a mango grow

You can personally write to me at [email protected] with your reviews of the book or if you have a story to share with our listeners.

I will bring you another episode of Sharing Life Lessons next Wednesday. Until then, 'Be happy, be safe and be well'.
