Kaia Charles is a cultural projects commissioner and curator whose work is rooted in contemporary art practice. She is based in London, England.

She has commissioned projects that explore urbanism, digital and cross-cultural visual culture. Before joining Greenwich Peninsula cultural team in 2014, she worked with the Victoria and Albert Museum, in London, curating a variety of arts commissions. These included an architectural intervention, Seasons Through the Looking Glass by C.J. Lim, Studio A Architects and a digital commission, Bit.Code by Julius Pop.

In 2013, she also co-chaired the V & A's, Friday Late in Dalston and Peckham takeovers tor the V & A and MasterCard. Kaia co-chaired the V & A's African Caribbean Steering Group which worked towards incorporating Afro-Caribbean contemporary arts in the V & A's collection.
