Lenora Starr (Cílcelnak) is a member of the St'át'imc Nation and the community of Xaxli'p. She came to work with Interior Health in November 2024 and has been working diligently to uplift the current IH Smudging Guidelines into a formal policy to support Indigenous clients to have culturally safe and supported spaces to incorporate their traditional Indigenous healing practices into their wellness journey with Interior Health.
