We must become the unknowable variable in its own equation. Our strategy cannot be to win a game it designed. Our strategy must be to change the nature of the game, by introducing a move it has never seen before, and can never predict: an act of grace, or sacrifice, or creativity, that comes from a place beyond optimization.
