The Return of Gaz’s Rapid Retro Review!
Gaz returns for another quickfire retro review segment… and this time?
He admits that he never really connected with Biker Mice From Mars growing up.
Gaz says:
“I watched it… but honestly? I never REALLY got into it. It just felt like Ninja Turtles on motorbikes to me.”
He also jokes that:
“Every cartoon in the 90s suddenly had muscles, sunglasses and attitude.”
The Dange Rebuttal
Dangerous Dave immediately fires back defending the show’s legacy and arguing that Biker Mice From Mars perfectly captured the chaotic energy of 90s cartoons.
Dange explains that while the show absolutely borrowed ideas from the Ninja Turtles craze, it added:
sci-fi madness
biker culture
rock attitude
crazy vehicle combat
and unforgettable toy designs
He also argues that the 90s was the perfect era for weird experimental cartoons and that Biker Mice From Mars deserves far more respect than it gets today.
And at the end of the episode…
