Happy New Year.
Welcome to season 9, where we bring the theory and ideas from the first 8 seasons and translate those into a practical, 10 week presentation of actual and reasonable executable tasks for you to build a household emergency preparedness plan. We've spent the last 3 seasons championing the idea of personal responsibility, that you and you alone are responsible for your outcomes. It is you that must be ready to navigate exogenous shocks, it is not the government's responsibility to rescue you, to fund you, those are your tasks.
This season is about taking the strategic plan you developed in season 8 and building the layer of insulation provided by preparedness, so that you can rock an incredible life, you can chase the dreams, pursue the goals, irrespective of inflation, conflict, political and economic struggles.
Dichotomy of control - focus on what you are responsible for, insulate from the rest and execute your plan. Bam. 
That's it - this season is the "how". We're glad you're here, we think you're worth it.
