Through historical analysis, cultural critique, and lived experience, Season Two traces how the United States responds when power feels threatened: progress followed by backlash, visibility followed by surveillance, care followed by abandonment.

Episodes examine Reconstruction backlash, state repression, AIDS-era neglect, the policing of queerness under “public morality,” and the deliberate cultivation of American amnesia that allows these patterns to repeat under new names.
