James 2:19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder. This is undoubtedly a statement being made to the Jews in the first century, because they believed in one God who would save them, but they rejected Jesus.Many folks think that if they just believe there is a god then they will be fine. Many even believe Jesus was a real person who lived, but yet they do not accept Him as their personal savior. The demons of course know there is God and Jesus is His son...why then are they damned to hell?
