Bridge Books integrates the sale of preloved books and works alongside other booksellers across downtown Johannesburg, acting as a go-between for publishers in South Africa and smaller retailers who might not have access to new books. They believe in supporting African writers and in finding as many ways of getting books into the hands of as many readers as possible.

Bridge Books is also busy setting up the African Book Trust, a non-profit that gives African books to libraries and schools across South Africa.
