In this final sermon of "The Secret Place" series, pastor Vlad is preaching about the Spiritual Reasons for fasting.

Our problem is that we have gotten accustomed to living life independently from God while we’ve grown dependant on stuff.

In fasting, we are reminding ourselves that we are dependent on God more than the food we eat and the stuff we use.

Since God gives grace to the humble and opposes the proud, fasting is the surest way to having God on our side.
