speaking of solar power... this week the girls dip their toes in the warm waters of solar power, the third studio album by none other than the alternative music sensation lorde. sofia expresses her love for short songs yet again (see our ashlyn episode for more details) while victoria and anusha praise lorde’s use of irony during “mood ring”. anusha is especially transfixed by the themes of summer and growing into one’s authentic self, unlike victoria, who talks more about the dystopian spin tracks like “leader of a new regime” and “secrets from a girl (who’s seen it all)” put on society. listen to enter a world of never ending summer and solar power :)
