In this episode I discuss the lead-up to Moroni's first visitation, which is recorded in Joseph Smith History. Then I move to Section 2 of the Doctrine and Covenants, which is a transcription of part of Moroni's words on that visit, to discuss how they relate to Malachi. And then I return to Joseph Smith History to talk about acquiring the plates.
