In sections 58-59, this week, the Lord gave counsel to the Saints as they arrived and strived to establish Zion in Independence, Missouri. My sparks are rather long today, with just two for our time together: one concerns the assumptions of some of the elders who were called to work in Zion, and the other centers on some of my very favorite verses in all scripture.
