A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...
She has a plan. He's about to change it.
Regan Wakefield is a headhunter in both name and personality: driven, motivated, and unafraid to pursue what - and who - she wants. Naturally, she's thrilled when her friend's wedding offers her an opportunity to score Logan McCade, the practically perfect best man. Unfortunately, groomsman Brock McNeil keeps getting in her way, riling her up in the most delicious of ways. But Brock's smooth southern charm isn't part of the plan...so how exactly did they end up having searing-hot sex? Regan may pretend the erotic electricity sparking between them is merely a distraction, but Brock knows better. She refuses to see beyond the devil-may-care facade he presents to the world, while he sees straight through hers. Changing her mind - and getting under her skin - is a challenge he can't resist. And when he wins, Brock will do whatever it takes to convince Regan that the best man for her is him.

What?
Do hipsters really behave this way? I just can't buy into a heroine so narcissistic and immature and cold-fish mean as Regan. Not to mention dumb enough to go hiking in the woods in 6 inch heels. If a romance novelist reversed her protagonists gender roles and had a hero behave the way this heroine does he'd be booed off the page as an irredeemable loser. Doesn't work as a romance no matter which one of the pair is a jerk.
Narrator did a great job with what she had to work with.
Narration of the southern accent not great at all.
Would you try another book from Katee Robert and/or Jessica Wortham?
Yes by Katee Robert but I'm probably not going to if it's being narrated by Jessica Wortham. Sorry. Don't want to spend my money on it and not know if it is any good or not. Sorry.
Did Jessica Wortham do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
The narrator did a good job except for Brock's character. It really would have been a lot better without the crappy accent. It was way to slow and distracting. Hope this is the only time it happens, would hate to buy another book and get the same results.
Was Seducing the Bridesmaid worth the listening time?
It was a decent book but had a hard time focusing on what was being said when the fake unnatural southern male accent was narrated by this woman. She should have just narrated it in her regular voice. It would have sounded much better.
OMG!!!!
The narrator did a TERRIBLE job with the male voices. I thought it was my 80 year old neighbor. Now I must listen to another book and get the voice out of my head. However I did enjoy the story.
Brock and Regan rock!
Loved Brock and Regan's story! Brock is the supposedly playboy southern gent that's every woman's dream. He takes one look at Regan and knows she's trouble but he can't help himself. Regan, determined to stay away from the playboy keeps coming up short as everywhere she turns, Brock is there. He's determined to take down her walls to see the real Regan but Regan definitely gives him a run for his money! Little does she know, there is more to Brock besides his hot body, adorable smile, and southern charm but she's about to find out!
Nice and sweet
I like the story but it lost itself a little in the ending, it kinda lost its fevor...
