Surprised and Disappointed
I have enjoyed Lisa Jackson's books in the past and have looked forward to her new releases. So, I was surprised at my disappointment with this book. Not only did I discover that this was really not a new book, but, a re-release of a much earlier book. I found I didn't like any of the characters very much and by the last page just wanted the book to end. It certainly was not up to her usual standards.
Reader horrible
This book was very disappointing. Ive read all her books and this one was nothing like the others. If I didnt know better I would have said she didnt write it
DON'T
I deleted it half way through. Dull story , unlikeable characters, tritely written, horribly performed. Bad.
Ugh! Where is the suspense?
The mystery and suspense is non existent. I hate not finishing a book, but I couldn't even muster up enough interest to finish this one. The premise is weak, the dialogue is corny, and the reader made it even worse. It was just cringe worthy.
just a little creepy
I think maybe the overall premise of the book could have been great but I just kept getting drawn back into the fact that they could be brother and sister and it grossed me out to say the least. Very hard subject to get right.
