This episode is a deep dive into the realities of religious life today, offering insights into faith and resilience.
We had the pleasure of interviewing Fr. Ives de May, C.Ss.R. and Fr Andreas Krahnen, C.Ss.R. who are currently the only 2 active Redemptorists in Belgium. Both Fathers spoke about their early calling to the Redemptorist way of life, emphasizing the importance of community.
Fr Ives' journey is particularly inspiring. Despite joining a community that was aging and declining, he embraces the challenges as opportunities for renewal and growth, the Christian Hope and a renewal of the church. This attitude of seeing potential in adversity is something we can all learn from, especially in our changing world.
Fr Andreas is originally from Germany but that did not stop him from learning new languages in spite of his age. Fr Andreas is also a wonderful musician. Spot him singing the Dutch version of Ku Mau Cita Yesus in this episode!
