I’ve always loved to see that moment, when the penny drops, and someone understands the Bible for the first time.
For many people, it’s not only exhilarating, but life transforming.
It’s that kind of penny-dropping, life-transforming experience that we see in Luke 24 today, as the risen Jesus appears to the two disciples on the road to Emmaeus and explains to them how he fulfils all the Old Testament Scriptures.

1. Disciples Disillusioned (13-24)
2. Jesus Revealed (25-31)
a. Through the Scriptures (25-27)
b. Through the breaking of bread (28-31)
3. Confidence Restored (32-35)
