Scriptures should be read from a perspective. Bishop uses the encounter of the Emmaus Disciples and Jesus to teach Christ is the substance of the scriptures. Conviction was a heavy topic within this bible study, because seeing Jesus should convince and convert us to His ways. If we are to have understanding of the scriptures, we should approach them by looking for Jesus Old Testament to New Testament.
