While hearing the Word is important, seeing the Word is also a valuable resource for gathered worship times. We will reflect on the importance of visual art in worship. We’ll also explore theological reasons for the use of art in gathered worship times, offer a variety of suggestions for its use, and provide examples (from services at the East County Church of Christ) of how to incorporate art during Sunday gatherings and beyond.
