Dr. Marty was diagnosed as an infant with cancer in both of his eyes, which over time has taken the majority of his eyesight. However, instead of seeing this diagnosis as a millstone around his neck, he resolved to use it as an opportunity to encourage others who find themselves in dark seasons of their lives.
