Today we are addressing how pride stops you from receiving all the blessings God has for you! 

Do you trust or believe in the power of God to change your situation or someone else's? Or do you believe and trust in yourself more?

For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted

Matthew 23:12

What's wrong with receiving respect or recognition as a teacher, preacher or leader?  

"For him that is taught in the word to give respect to him that teaches, is commendable; but for him that teaches, to demand it, to be puffed up with it, is sinful"

  1. Heart Posture - What’s your motive to teach or correct - Or to show Grace?
  2. Relationship or Religion - What’s the goal? - At the end of the day do you want people to understand Relationship  or Religion. If you want someone to suffer consequences if you want them to be punished, you are following religion - We have to remember we’re not in charge of conversion, we're in charge of planting the seed.
  3. Obedience and Good Works are not the same - Do you trust God’s favor on your life?
