Super Inframan, aka Saxon, joins AP on this episode in an exploration of media that is traditionally considered geeky such as comic books and kaiju movies and how these forms of media overlap with high strangeness and real world weirdness. He is an honest-to-goodness super hero, a semi-regular co-host on Where Did the Road Go?, and a martial arts instructor. He and AP discuss a wide range of fun topics, starting with the wild story of Count Dante and the dojo wars of Chicago and ending in Middle Earth.
Along the way are discussions about the mystical side of Jack Kirby, some personal strange encounters, super heroes as cryptids, the mainstreaming of geek culture, and of course plenty of laughs.
