“If I’m not seeking the Kingdom of God, If I’m not seeking spiritual things, if I come to church because I want to be popular, if I’m coming to church because I want people to know my name, If I’m coming to church to build my own empire, if I’m coming to church to be famous, If I’m coming to church to be revered, if I’m coming to church to be known, heaven doesn’t do it for me, do you know why? Because when I get to heaven nobody’s going to care about me, because every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!”

Legacy is built on a foundation of faithfulness, not recognition of achievement, we’ve got to get away from a performance delivered Christianity, the only two things that matter is faithfulness and fruitfulness. Prominence is not the same as significance, you can be known by a million people and not change a single life but you could be known by nobody and change lives forever. The world builds it empire on prominence but God builds his Kingdom on significance.
