Excelling in Christ

Seen, Known, and Held

Listen Later

In this episode, I reflect on the powerful truth that God sees me, not from a distance, not with suspicion, and not as one face lost in a crowd. He sees me personally, with care, faithfulness, and purpose. Life often teaches us to keep going even when no one notices, but Scripture reminds me that hidden obedience is never hidden from God. He sees the prayers I keep praying, the burdens I keep carrying, and the quiet faithfulness that may never receive applause.

I also explore how God’s seeing is connected to His action. He saw Hagar in the wilderness, Leah in her pain, Israel in bondage, and Noah in the ark. He sees before He acts, and He acts faithfully in His timing. That truth helps me wait without assuming I have been forgotten.

This episode is an invitation to rest in the steady comfort of being known by God. When I believe He sees the path ahead, my courage grows. I do not have to perform for human eyes or panic in seasons of silence. I can trust that the God who sees me also knows how to care for me.
