We all have our own issues wins and loses however I believe that God have something greater for us in our unique and individual lives and as my former Pastor use to say all the time, "it's a faith walk".  So if there is something that you would love to do and it would be a benefit, but you've been putting off for no real reason I challenge you to pray about it step out on faith and jump!
