Malak Hossam, aka Malalaalaa is an Egyptian DJ, promoter and co-founder of Fractal Cairo — one of her city’s most elusive underground raves. Her latest work was on the women-led Unfamiliar party series as an organiser-turned-performer.

In Malalaalaaa’s one-hour set, inspired by her recent gig at Unfamilar on 13/01/; she wavers between chopped R&B to bassy dancehall incensed with deconstructed techno.
