The federal government says the country’s big three telecommunications companies have just two years to slash the price of select cellphone plans by 25 per cent. Rogers has announced they will be the first provider in Canada to offer the 5G network on the first 5G phone in the country. It was just recently the company announced plans to roll out the new network starting in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
