Self-care is not only essential for healing wounds, it is also essential for enjoying life.
We all agree that for a car to run well, we must put gas in it, periodically change the oil and the tires and generally pay attention to anything that doesn't sound right.
If we would apply this same principal to our emotional and physical health, our bodies would run much better and be much happier. It doesn't take a lot of effort but it does take some.
In this episode, I share ways to destress and feel better using a variety of tools like breathing, stretching, mindful relaxation, safe place (visualizing a place you like to be), remembering good memories and a number of other suggestions.
The more you can incorporate these into your life, the better and happier version of yourself you will be.
