Are you afraid of being “too much” when asking for what you need? In this episode, we’re talking self-worth, dating, boundaries and learning to communicate your needs without feeling needy. Discover why expressing what you want isn’t begging for the bare minimum it’s giving people the chance to show up for you.
What happens when you stop making romantic relationships the centre of your life? In this episode of the Self Concept Bestie Podcast, I’m talking about choosing yourself first, dating without losing yourself, self-worth, relationships, and creating a life you genuinely love with or without a partner.
What if feeling a bit flat, quiet or uninspired doesn’t mean something is wrong? In this episode, I’m talking about those quieter seasons where you don’t feel like posting, chatting or being “ON” and why we don’t always need to analyse, fix or turn every feeling into a self-improvement project. Sometimes you’re just a bit quiet. And that’s okay. 🩷
What if that text, silence, bad date, rejection, anxious feeling or bad day doesn’t actually mean anything about you?
In this episode, we’re talking about overthinking, self-worth, self-concept and the stories we attach to everyday situations. Because sometimes someone doesn’t reply because… they didn’t reply. 😂 Someone pulling away doesn’t automatically mean you weren’t enough, and one bad day doesn’t mean you’re going backwards.
You don’t need to analyse everything, find an explanation for everyone’s behaviour or turn every experience into a reflection of your worth.
Take the information. Trust yourself. Keep your crown on. And carry on. 👑🩷
Sometimes you already know the answer… you just need to hear it from someone else.
In this episode of the Self Concept Bestie Podcast, I’m talking about those situations where deep down you KNOW something isn’t working, but you keep second-guessing yourself, overthinking, looking for more signs, making excuses or waiting for someone else to change.
Sometimes another perspective doesn’t tell you what to do. It gives you enough distance to hear your own voice again.
So if you’re currently questioning a relationship, someone’s behaviour, a decision, a boundary or whether you’re asking for too much this one is your reminder:
You might not need another sign. You might just need to trust the ones you’ve already seen.
You are allowed to choose yourself. 🩷
How to become more confident without waiting to feel confident first. In this episode, we’re talking about self-confidence, self-belief, mindset, personal growth and taking action even when you feel nervous or unsure. I’m calling you out on the “I’ll be confident when…” mindset because confidence doesn’t come from waiting. It comes from doing, proving to yourself that you can, and learning to trust yourself.
What happens when you become so good at needing less that you stop recognising yourself?
In this deeply personal episode, I share something I’ve never spoken about publicly before: the moment I decided to leave my marriage not after a huge argument or one dramatic event, but after quietly realising I didn’t recognise the woman I had become.
I believed being a good wife meant needing less, asking for less, putting everyone else first and being endlessly understanding. But underneath that was something much deeper: low self-worth, self-abandonment and the belief that I wasn’t worthy of more.
I talk about leaving, choosing myself, taking radical accountability for what I had accepted, rebuilding my identity and learning that coming back to yourself doesn’t happen overnight. It happens through the tiny moments where you finally start listening to yourself again.
If you’re navigating divorce, separation, relationship struggles, people-pleasing, low self-worth, boundaries, self-abandonment or rebuilding your identity, this episode is for you.
Because sometimes choosing yourself doesn’t mean becoming someone new.
It means finally coming back to the woman you were all along.
Ever have one of those days where nothing is actually wrong… but you just feel flat?
In this episode, I’m talking about feeling drained, second guessing yourself and that temptation to assume something has gone wrong just because your energy has shifted.
Because personal growth isn’t about feeling amazing every day. It’s about self-trust, emotional regulation and not making every feeling mean something.
Maybe nothing needs fixing. Maybe today is just… today. 🤍
You’re still you.

A realisation that sounds ridiculously obvious but completely changed the way I see my life: I have free will. I get to choose. In this episode, we’re talking about identity, people pleasing, fear of judgement, making your own decisions and finally giving yourself permission to live life on your terms.
What happens when you stop trying to be productive and simply give yourself permission to create? In this episode, I share how my new job unexpectedly brought out a creative side of me I’d forgotten was there and what that’s taught me about play, self-expression and reconnecting with yourself.
