Self confidence is tricky. And something we all have to build, particularly in times when we are feeling low about ourselves, or insecure, or whatever variety of emotions that come with the human existence. . I’d go on TikTok and Ig live every day with you all. I tried setting my phone up this morning to do a GRWM, and I didn’t like the way that my arm looked, so I frustratedly gave up, instead of coming on to share a story that I was excited to share… . I would travel in my Rv, not just stay relatively local. In my past I have been told horrible things by people “if it wasn’t for me you’d be dead or kidnapped/r*ped/ if it wasn’t for me protecting you, “maybe you need to have something bad happen to you to learn your lesson,” etc…. Which fueled a deep insecurity of questioning my ability to take care of myself. . I’d wear more bikinis, more of the things I want to wear in general, heck, I’d rock the birthday suit! But body image comes in waves, and can vary day to day hindering my perception of myself as the onset of body dystrophia does. . Watch the video to read more things I’d do if I was more confident. .
