Self-discipline produces the self-control necessary for disciples to attain our crown.  We must learn to control our thoughts, passions, moods, emotions, time, money, appetites, and speech.   Self-discipline demands that we properly prioritize priorities – “seek first the kingdom of God and  his righteousness.”
