On episode 32 of Self Equity, were joined by Kellen Mond, former SEC quarterback and one of the most accomplished signal callers in Texas A&M history. Kellen was a four year starter for the Aggies, throwing for over 9,600 yards with 71 touchdowns, while adding more than 1,600 rushing yards and 22 rushing scores on the ground. He led Texas A&M to an Orange Bowl win after the 2020 season and built a reputation for durability, leadership, and consistency while competing in the SEC. He was selected in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings and went on to spend time with the Vikings, Browns, and Colts, experiencing the NFL from inside multiple locker rooms and systems. In this episode, we talk about Kellen’s journey - from being a long time college starter to navigating life as a professional quarterback, the realities of the NFL, leadership, resilience, and what he’s taken from every stage of his career. Joining me as co host for todays episode is Ryan Lynch, Financial Advisor for the Zelniker Dorfman Carr & Heritage Group.
