Valeria interviews Alissa Martinez — She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.

She has experience with nonprofit organizations that were centered on assessing needs through access to resources and exploring the various components that impact mental health. Alissa has also worked for mental health group practices where she provided both individual therapy for all ages, as well as couples therapy. She recently opened up her own private practice Crystal Mind Counseling where she now focuses on providing individual and couples therapy to adults struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, and relationships. From quite an early age, Alissa has been passionate about psychotherapy, long before she understood the concept of it. For a long time, because she sought to be understood, she ultimately found herself wanting to understand the world around her. Thus, her desire to give what she struggled to find at a young age paved the way to becoming a psychotherapist.
