Who am I? That's a question that can plague nearly anyone on the planet. You know your name, where you come from, and what you do day to day. But have you done an inventory of your history and life experiences to see what made you?
My guest today is Urmi Hossain. Urmi currently works as in the financial services industry of Canada. But before that she was just a Bengali girl growing up in Italy and wondering which cultural norms she was supposed to be emulating. What things were true to her? And what things were just expected? It was a journey through life which took her several decades and moving across the world to figure out.
She's written a book and now speaks publicly on the importance of discovering who you are for your own sake. It's something any of us should take the time to at least think about, even if you think your the most vanilla person in the world. Vanilla is still it's own flavor no matter what mint chocolate chip might say.
