Understanding how to self-regulate our emotions and actions is an essential skill to develop. If you are working towards “earned secure attachment”, think of this as a milestone on that path. Individuals with one of the insecure attachment styles may find self-regulation a bit difficult to get used to. In this podcast, I will help you understand common relationship triggers for those with each of the three insecure attachment styles I discussed in my last episode. Being aware of potential triggers is the first key step necessary to be prepared to manage your reactions to those triggers.
