Firstly, to find the best products to sell online you need a Chrome browser so you need to use Google Chrome as your browser and this can only be done on your computer, but when you are doing product research the fastest ways to do it on your laptop computer. Use the Chrome browser and the reason why is because you want to add this Chrome extension to your browser. What it does is it gives you a top-level view of all of the rankings. So then when you're looking at product pages you get a higher level view. You'll see what I'm saying.

You need to then just go Google DS Amazon Quick View. Just Google that and you'll see the link, click on it, and then click add to Chrome and then you can go through to the top level back to the page we were at before, If you sell products online with Amazon bestsellers top-level bestseller category. [01:10:30] If you click onto it now that you have an extension available you'll see what you're seeing here. If you don't have an extension going then you won't see this but I'm going to be using this as an example because it does make things go a lot faster for you. So let's not mess around.

What we're looking at here is the rankings and they're shown on the forefront. Otherwise, if you don't have this extension, you have to click individually into each actual product, [01:11:00] go down to the product detail section, and the rank is listed there. You can still do it, so on your phone, that's really only way to see your rank if you're watching this or you're looking on your phone, you have to click into the product then go to product details.

So you see here if you click into our arts, crafts, and sewing category the number one product here is these pens. So what we're going to be now looking for is what type of bestseller rank can we actually be successfully [01:11:30] competing with, essentially, and what would that competition look like. What's it going to mean for our dollar, how much money do we need to put out to consistently start selling, how would we start selling these types of things.

First of all the rank that we're looking for is anywhere between 1 and 15,000. Now, this is going to be a little bit vague but you have to understand each category when you sell products online has an individual demand. That demand is basically understood by the level of [01:12:00] the bestseller ranks in the top level categories. So maybe the home and kitchen has a higher rank than arts and crafts for the overall demand because there's more people going to them. Rankings are relative to the category. But 1 in 15,000, pretty much on all categories, are going to get you a product that's consistent if you match it up with the rest of the data points that were going to talk about.
