After NVDA's mind numbing run I have decided to take a bit more off the table and further cut my position down to size...but is my move enough?
Writing covered calls on QCOM and selling off most of my position there.
As rate cuts get nearer we look at stocks that should benefit from lower costs of borrowing, but we are also looking at the stocks that benefit when the consumer has a lower cost to borrow.
We always hear that the NASDAQ names are more rate sensitive, but housing, car sales, some retail and banking names should also rise a bit as rates settle back down at lower levels.
Many names continue to buyback their shares and/or also raise their dividends and a good number of those stocks are where I am looking to park some cash for dividends and long term gains.
