The sun disappears as the mountains grow in the windshield. Darkness covers the asphalt, thunder rolls in and the road vanishes under the heavy rain. Rolling to a safe stop on the side, parking brake engaged. Easing back into the sleeper, the engine idles while the rain pours down and thunder rumbles around the cab. Lightning stretches across the sky, all the sounds create a soothing melody.
