SCENE: Sen. Amy Klobuchar and aides are rushing through the US Capitol when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo briefly catches her on cannabis policy.

Matt Laslo: “How are you, ma’am?”

Amy Klobuchar: “I’m fine, thank you.”

ML: “Curious, do you have any thoughts on the DEA moving on marijuana — reschedule it?”

AK: “Not right now.”

Klobuchar then slows down and turns back to Laslo.

AK: “I’ve been on the SAFER…”

ML: “Oh yeah? You support SAFER [Banking Act]?”

AK: “Yeah. I’m on it.”

ML: “Yep? Thank you, ma’am.”
