SCENE: Sen. Moran exits the tram underneath the US Capitol when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo grrets him before he hops an elevator to go vote on the Senate chamber.

Matt Laslo: “Hey, how are you, sir?”

Jerry Moran: “How are you?”

ML: “Livin’ the dream. Any thoughts on the DEA moving to reschedule marijuana?”

JM: “I wait…”

ML: “Yeah?”

ML: “What about clemency for past marijuana convictions?”

JM: “I don't think about that either.”

ML: “I know. Gotta ask though. Preciate ya.”
