The hearing was put on by Sen. Johnson from Wisconsin and a panel of experts provided a foundational and historical understanding of the changes that have occurred over the last century within agriculture, food processing, and healthcare industries (insurance and pharmaceuticals) which impact the current state of national health. All of these entities and more must make fundamental changes to reverse the epidemic of chronic disease.
