The Ministry of Showing Up | Amanda Fink Reich | Fred Ortiz, Founder Senior Life Network Podcast
Grief doesn’t end when the funeral is over. Sometimes one of the most meaningful things we can do is simply remember.
Fred Ortiz, Founder Senior Life Network Podcast, sits down with Amanda Fink Reich for a deeply personal conversation about grief, loss, capturing the moments that matter, and what it means to continue showing up for someone long after a loss.
Amanda shares how something as simple as remembering the date someone lost a loved one and sending a text can have an incredible impact. She remembers their stories. She remembers the people they loved. And she reminds those who are grieving that they are still seen and they are not alone.
They also talk about taking the photos, capturing the moments, and being present with the people we love—because one day, those ordinary moments may become some of our most treasured memories.
In this episode, Amanda shares about:
• Showing up for people in grief
• Remembering the dates that matter
• Why grief doesn’t have a timeline
• Capturing moments with the people we love
• Making people feel seen and remembered
• How her own experiences shaped the way she cares for others
Sometimes showing up doesn’t require having the perfect words. Sometimes it’s simply saying, “I remember.”
