In this episode, I had the pleasure of talking to Richard Williams, a senior lecturer at Bournemouth University. During Richard's career, he has managed children's homes in London, ran special schools, been the principal officer of an education social work service, SENCO, researched the outcomes of looked after, and much more!In this episode, we talk about expectations of looked-after children, what more needs to be done to educate teachers and social workers, the importance of education, the need to support looked-after children thoroughly through university, and much, much more!I have learned so much from this conversation, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
