Special needs parenting can be a difficult and isolating journey. You are not alone. In this bonus episode I discuss inclusive and sensory friendly Santa visits, and share the wonderful experience we had with one of these events last year.
Search for "sensory friendly Santa" or "inclusive Santa" events in your area to find opportunities to have a special interaction with Santa in a way that meets your child's needs.
While my youngest child is autistic with sensory processing disorder, most of the content in this podcast will apply to many special needs parents. Our paths may look different, but the journeys are similar. Those who work with, know or love a special needs child or family will also find helpful insights and a personal perspective on the struggles and joys.
Join me as we explore and honor the tears, laughter, and trials, and seek to make the world a better place for all children.
