In John 20, we find Jesus stepping back onto the scene after His resurrection. In this "encore," Jesus speaks peace over fearful disciples, breathes the Holy Spirit upon them, and declares, "As the Father sent Me, so I am sending you." We are sent ones—called with authority, filled with the Spirit, grounded in peace, and released to carry forgiveness into a world that desperately needs it.
