A lack of leadership at the Federal Reserve, combined with a lack of leadership at the White House, now spells D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R for the U.S. economy. 

The government's money-printing has created a massive, unprecedented, and irresponsible increase in our money supply. Meanwhile, the government's misleading--and underreported--inflation numbers mean the Fed can pretend it has no idea what's really at stake. 

Inflation today is far more akin to the inflation rate of 1980...i.e. 13.6%....meaning the Fed needs to summon its inner Paul Volker. But Paul Volker... Jerome Powell is NOT.
