When you say things like Money comes to me effortlessly, what you're doing is opening up perception to new ways to make money. You stop saying, "I can't do it," and start saying, "If I do this then I can".

So then you start looking for ways to have money come to you effortlessly. You start focusing on the process that will get you the money like starting a business or getting that next job promotion instead of not trying. Plus if you enjoy the process of making money, then it will come to you effortlessly. If you don't, then it won't come effortlessly.

A positive mindset will take you far and can help you get through the tough times. If you say it's bad, then it's bad. If you say it's good, then it's good. One choice tends to be better than doing the other.
