SUPER busy show as there's lots going on in and around the city these days. First up is a conversation with Canadian jazz legend Holly Cole who plays Club Regent NEXT Saturday, September 20th. We talk about her new album Dark Moon.

Then Semi Kumolu-Johnson stops by the station to talk about Shinerama, the annual campus fundraising efforts in support of Cystic Fibrosis. Shinerama takes place on the Fort Garry Campus on Thursday, September 18th.

The next day in Brandon is the start of a free, two-day, all-ages festival in celebration of modular synths. Brendon Ehinger joins me to talk about all that's going on as part of Prairie Wires Modular.

And finally, Carson McHone releases her new album Pentimento today on Merge and we talk about how the record came to be in advance of her appearance at Sidestage on September 16th opening for partner Daniel Romano.
